Scale Operator Floater

Description:

Holcim US, a leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Scale Operator Floater to support operations. This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the scale house, weighing inbound and outbound trucks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operate truck scale and ensure accurate weighing of inbound and outbound materials.
• Maintain records of weight tickets and ensure proper documentation.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, plant personnel, and customers.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in company systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.
• Provide coverage at multiple locations as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Experience in scale operations or administrative support in an industrial setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with data entry.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at different locations.
